Week of 8.5.24

What a wild west weekend!

In recognition of the success of Founders Days, we want to thank all who contributed to its planning, participation, and attendance. We hope that you found enjoyment in the diverse range of activities offered, which included a captivating western theme, an exciting treasure hunt, engaging games, a lively carnival, and stimulating contests.

It definitely has us excited for our next full weekend event coming in October.

We also had a huge announcement during the festivities. We introduced the addition of two new species, Fae and Aquatics. Both have been in the plans to join the Eclipse Ridge repertoire. And don’t think we’ve stopped there. These new arrivals won’t be the last.

We appreciate everyone who provided suggestions, the Mentors that proofed and consulted with us on their development, and everyone who will take up these characters as their own.

Have a fantastic week Eclipse Ridge!

Here are snippets of current stories happening on sim or prompts to help get you dive in. Knowledge of these events are public knowledge so anyone in town could become aware of the following:

On July 30th, Sentinel reporter Aerik Williams published a story “Local Residents Resent Grave Corp Trespassing Prohibition” that elicited various responses.

Grave Corp has remained tight-lipped regarding the allegations of payroll influence within the Sterling County Sheriff’s Office.

In an official statement from the Sheriff’s Office, Undersheriff Alex Hawkins clarified that his previous comments were made as a citizen and did not represent the official position of the SCSO. He reiterated the concerns of the SCSO regarding the safety conditions and recent acts of vandalism in Old Town.

What is the next chapter in this small town drama?
