So for this week 5 on our count down to Halloween it’s a tale of curses and witchcraft as we visit The House of Seven Gables!

Set in the Mid 19th Century in Salem Massachusetts the story is a  somber study in hereditary sin, based on the legend of a curse pronounced on Hawthorne’s own family by a woman condemned to death during the infamous Salem witch trials.

Followed of course by Magical Music & Spellbinding Requests!

Whether you’re new to the Ridge and have questions about storylines, RP, or how to get started—or you’ve been around for a while and just want to meet and greet your fellow RPers in an OOC setting—come to our weekly Ridge Roundup!

This is where ideas, suggestions, and questions about the sim, events, and plots can be aired in a casual, pressure-free setting.

This week’s is hosted by Leah Grave (abigail.macalroy)!

Here are snippets of current stories happening on sim or prompts to help get you dive in. Knowledge of these events are public knowledge so anyone in town could become aware of the following:

In Old Town, a mutilated body believed to belong to the missing Grave Corp employee was discovered. Investigators are still trying to determine how the employee ended up there and whether or not they had any involvement in the break in.

An unconfirmed rumor of another abandoned body surfacing at a hospital has sparked concern. While the authenticity of the claim remains uncertain, the presence of a dead body in a medical facility is not entirely unexpected.

Gun violence seems to be on the rise in the quiet hamlet with reports of two separate cases involving shootings. The Sterling County Sheriff’s Office anticipates a hectic October as they work to resolve pending cases, including these newly discovered ones.

Introducing Quinn Button, the newly appointed Executive Director of the Eclipse Ridge Chamber of Commerce! Quinn is dedicated to fostering business networking and re-engaging the chamber in impactful community events. The inaugural meeting under Quinn’s leadership will be held on October 3rd at 7pm SLT at the Community Center. Business owners and representatives are strongly encouraged to attend.
