The official holiday season kicked off this past weekend with Friendsgiving and the Winter Lights Celebration in Town Park. Lights and decor will be up til New Years for plenty of time to enjoy with your characters and friends.
There are also several holiday themed events going on throughout December including trivia night, parties, and a photo contest!

For those who embrace the darker side, don’t forget that the Victorian Gothic era gave us the Bronte sisters, Dracula, eccentric relatives in the attic, and haunted graveyards, so don’t feel pressured to embrace ruffles and pastels. xD

Eclipse Ridge Holiday Photo Contest
Dec. 3rd – 31st, 2024
Over L$10,000 total will be given out in winnings!
Photos will be judged based on three themed categories:
- Best Winter Landscape
- Best Festive Attire or Decor
- Best Group
Three winners will be selected from each category by a panel of 3 judges who will be revealed when the contest closes. In case of a tie, The Executive Board will enter a vote.
Rules:
- Photos must be taken on the Eclipse Ridge sim.
- No AI edits. Light editing including color corrections or filters is allowed.
- No explicit shots, political statements, or depiction of anything that is in violation of sim rules.
- 1 entry per participant
- Must be in the Eclipse Ridge OOC Group OR join the Eclipse Ridge Discord for the duration of the contest.
Submissions:
- All photos must be submitted by Dec. 31st at 11:59pm SLT. No exceptions.
- Photos should be named: Character name (legacy name)/discord name (if applicable) Eclipse Ridge Holiday Photo.
- ie: Leah Grave (abigail.macalroy)/ryder_storms – Eclipse Ridge Holiday Photo
- Photos may be submitted to Eclipse Ridge Flickr group, sent to Leah Grave (abigail.macalroy) in-world, or Discord in the photo feed.
