Howdy and Happy Holidays everyone, we hope you had a great festive period if you celebrate or had an otherwise relaxing time. As we close in on the end of 2024, and eight months of Eclipse Ridge, we wanted to thank you all for coming along and sharing your stories, and a special big welcome to all the new players who have joined us recently.

When we started planning for Eclipse Ridge way back when, we set out with the intent of doing things a little differently – A unique system without being beholden to existing lore structures, a player-driven narrative that grows and expands with our community.

In 2024, we added three new species, Aquatic, Fae and Revenant, and we will continue to explore new species in the new year. We will also resume planning for further expansion in January. We have also started a comprehensive review of our complete Lore, tying up loose ends, rebalancing where it’s needed, and making sure our Lore comprehensively covers the developments we’ve made since it was originally written. Those will be updated on the website, and we’ll share those updates as they go live.

We are also delighted to welcome Tavaera Vesperti (Syerra) to the Storyteller Team, who has graciously accepted the position to help lead the development of Fae lore and stories, as well as helping new Fae players adapt and adjust to our Lore. We are thankful and grateful that we continue to have such fantastic writers take up the task of developing our stories alongside our community.
