The Severed Thread has been taunting citizens of Eclipse Ridge via a social media account on Crcl© user-05012024.

First, a glitched video with a cryptic ominous message. Second, a jest at casting ballots, a direct nod to the letter sent to Anya Murtagh. Now, the user is responding to messages with candid photos of the individuals responding to their posts. (All have access to see this.)

The question of yielding to demands divides opinion. Should we stand firm and risk the consequences, or is the sacrifice of a few justified to protect the majority?

Who gets to decide? Which species has the final say?

The decision regarding the future of Eclipse Ridge must be made within five days. Failure to act will result in the decision being made for all.

OOC Note:

All should have a vague idea there are demands being made. If you have not been directly told what they are, seek out a Storyteller to arrange a quick IC run in to learn what is being required.

Throughout the next few days, scenarios will be presented for individuals or groups to play out.

The climax will be on Saturday, Mar 7, 2026 starting at 4pm SLT. If you would like to participate in this scene, please reach out to Leah/Ryder so she can get a head count and assign parts. You must be active in the storyline through the week to be involved in the final scene.
