The Eclipse Ridge Fire Department (ERFD) is a small municipal fire department serving the town of Eclipse Ridge and the surrounding foothills and parks of the Rocky Mountains. 

The ERFD is staffed by a hybrid of full-time and volunteer firefighters and paramedics who pride themselves on operating in some of the country’s most challenging terrain. From routine call-outs to technically complex and difficult search and rescue operations, the ERFD is equipped to manage a wide variety of incidents.

Quartered at 2200 Washington Street, the ERFD consists of two primary rigs, an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance, and a Battalion Support Vehicle (BSV), as well as additional reserve and brush response vehicles.
